A wonderful essay, however the takeaway for me is.. all 3 initiatives so painstakingly and with a pompous, grandiosity of arrogance heretofore never before seen, has failed spectacularly… even the latest instalment, Colby’s is a failure, hardly out of the starting blocks, it has added to the decline of the U.S as a hegemonic, as a superpower, the dominant superpower.
Nothing they have done save control of narrative and domestic policy has succeeded, good luck to them, though even domestically there is now huge pushback from a restless populace, a frustrated and increasingly disenfranchised electorate.. the experiment at domestic level will also spectacularly fail just as foreign policy and the attempts to contain China, Russia have, whilst the latest iteration of foreign policy has seen the emergence of the globes fourth true superpower… Iran, deservedly so called after defeating the U.S.
It’s an embarrassment of epic proportions and these out of whack, out of touch geniuses… douche bags more fittingly they ought be referred have together Zbignew Brezinski, Kissinger, the very much below average general flag officers of the U.S military have and presently preside over the fastest decline of a global superpower the world has ever witnessed, whilst behind the scenes we have the U.K endeavouring with fellow terrorist state, Zionist Israel continue their aspirations of grandeur, especially the U.K as it endeavours to capture pst days of empirical global dominance having used the U.S military and intelligence services as its personal battering ram, however, with Trump now in office, waking up to the fact his National has been mercilessly used, we see push back, long overdue the long suffering U.S taxpayers…
A great read, enlightening but a reminder of what hubris, arrogance, ignorance and lack of real intellect takes you, a nation, individuals… right down the dunny, carsy, shitter, toilet… deservedly so.. not long now and we will all no longer have to deal with the lies, obfuscation, duplicity, fraud and corruption that is the U.S led Western hegemony… a new world rises, a multipolar world, one where wealth doesn’t drive policy, where equanimity, win/win not zero sum winner take all is the driver… just saying
Thank you for this birds' eye view of the last 50+ years of US policy making. It reveals that beyond the daily headlines of political craziness there is a program of action. But as you hinted at the end of the article, this program may be leading to a fundamental crash because Western elites are all about preserving their power and control, not about offering humanity a happier and more prosperous future. The question now is: will the people rise up, or feebly submit to their chains?
I would start with the foundational ideological base of the 1947 founding of the Mont Pelerin Society. The Federalist Society is well-documented in Craig Unger's book: "America Kompromat," along with the importation of Spanish Nazism via Josemaria Escriva. Remember that way back in 1905, John Dewey said: "Politics is the shadow cast upon society by big business."
Note that the "Iraq War" was perhaps the first Strong Influence of isar3li directing a U.S. war. Bibi was so upset by George H.W. not going past his UN Mandate and finishing off Iraq, that he dropped support for H.W. and funded the Clinton campaign. But perhaps that influence was in effect during the Iraq-Iran war, with U.S. backing Iraq to weaken isra3l's primary rival, Iran.
China can have a "clearly articulated endgame" since it avoids administrative churn from election cycles which enable possible ideological capture, release, and recapture of the levers of power. What control America does have evolves via the deep state, well away from administrative churn. As one CIA agent once told a Senator - "You can be gone in four years, the CIA is forever."
